Am I Ready To Launch?

Edited

Are you ready to launch and publish your shop to your community? Great question!

There are a few things you want to make sure you have done before sharing out your link to your store.

  1. STORE INFO > Update Here!

    • General Setting

      • Most of this is set when you creating your account. But it is good to do a second check.

      • Is your name correct (check typos!)?

      • Is your banner clean?

      • Is your store name position correct?

      • Do you want to show or hide your email, phone, address, etc?

  2. SEO - (Search Engine Optimization) > Update Here!

    • This is helpful for people searching for you on Google. But it does a lot more than that. Updating your SEO also makes sure any links you share out have your ministry/organizations name, not "The Church Shop".

    • It makes sure the image that is shared is yours.

    • It make sharing your info easy.

    • Update your SEO here: Settings & More > SEO > General, Facebook and X (twitter).

      • The Facebook Image is important. It will appear when sharing on Messenger and even messages

  3. PRODUCT LAYOUT

    1. Update your products in an organized way. (Learn More Here)

    2. Set Custom Categories for your store (Learn More Here)

      • This is great for ministries, or events. But not necessary.

  4. Order Samples!

    1. Not required but highly suggested. Order samples of your products. This is a great way to see how they turn out, make sure they are printing how you imagined, and you have a tangible product to show off at church!

    2. This is especially helpful for embroidery.

      • Embroidery has a 3-5 day delay on the first order when creating the digitized design. This will remove it for any member/customer you have ordering from you

      • It will make sure the embroidery looks how you want

    3. We do our best to match colors (if you didn't choose one) but sometimes the colors just are not the perfect match to your brand. This will help you make sure it is right

    4. You may have used a logo/design with small fonts or designs. This may not turn out how you want with embroidery. Samples will help make sure your products looks exactly how you want.

    5. As always, if you have questions or run into issues with your samples, just reach out and we will be happy to help. If something didn't turn out how you expected, we will help you fix it and replace it at no cost.

  5. Share Your URL!

    1. Once you have your shop set up and ready to share, grab your URL from the browser link (looks something like this: https://thechurch.shop/shop/yourchurchname

    2. If you are on our Custom Subscription Plan, make sure you have requested the use of a white labeled domain!
