Which color profile should I use for my files?

Edited

At The Church Shop, we want to ensure that your designs look their best when printed. This article will help you understand how color spaces work and provide tips for achieving the most accurate print results.

Color Spaces Explained

While we accept files in various color spaces, it's important to note that our system operates in red, green, and blue (RGB). If you upload a file created in cyan, magenta, yellow, and black (CMYK), our system will automatically convert it to RGB. Please keep in mind that this conversion may lead to significant color shifts.

Tips for Color Accuracy

To achieve the most color-accurate print results, we recommend following these simple steps:

  • Create your design in RGB color mode.

  • Preview how your design might look when printed by converting it to CMYK color mode in your design application. This will give you a good idea of the potential color shift once printed.

  • After previewing, undo the color mode changes and export your design in the RGB color profile.

By following these guidelines, you can help ensure that your printed designs reflect your creative vision as accurately as possible. Happy designing!
