Gift Cards & Custom Promo Codes
Using Custom Promo Codes
What is the difference between Gift Card & Custom Promo Code?
Gift cards are the standard gift card you would purchase on any site, like Amazon. Purchase a $10 gift card and you will get a unique random code to give to someone. They can then enter it at checkout for $10 off.
Custom Promo Codes are a more robust custom way of creating promotions for your store.
Filling Out Your Form:
Below are the fields you will fill out and what they mean.
Apply to Shipping Only:
This will allow you to cover the cost of shipping for your members. If you choose "No", the amount you enter still covers shipping if there is enough remaining on the card. Ex. $14 shirt + 4.99 shipping = $18.99. $25 will cover the shirt and shipping.
Set Expiration Date:
Limit how long this code can be used. You can transfer any remaining amount to a new code at expiration. Email support@thechurch.shop email for this request.
How Many Times Can One Person Use This Card:
This will limit the use to once per person (tracked via email). Ex: If you set to 1, this code will work for an email address once. This is a great way to give out gifts to guests, volunteers, etc.
Limit to One Product:
If you want to give away one product and cover the cost of the product and shipping, check Yes. Otherwise check no to use the total allowed amount on several products.
Promo Code:
Enter your custom code (ex. FBCKidsMin, FaithChurchGuest, etc) We suggest you add something unique to your store like FBC or FaithChurch.
Number of Uses:
Let's say you want to give this code out to 100 people. Put 100. If you want to give it to your 5 staff members, put 5. Or leave it to 1 if you want unlimited uses. This is important for how we calculate your total.
Amount Per Use:
Enter the amount you want to give to your members/guest. If you want to cover the cost of shipping, enter the max amount you want to cover.
Once code is paid for, we will add it to your store. Please check your email for confirmation.
