Pantone & Color Matching

Color matching depends on the decoration method used for your product. Here's how Pantone colors are handled across our available decoration methods.

DTG and DTF are digital printing processes and do not use mixed Pantone spot-color inks. Because colors are reproduced digitally, an exact Pantone match cannot be guaranteed.

You may provide a Pantone color as a reference, and we’ll reproduce it as closely as the printing process allows. Final color can vary depending on factors such as the artwork, printer profile, garment color/material, pretreatment, ink, and production conditions.

For best results, we recommend submitting artwork in RGB color mode using high-quality artwork. If color accuracy is critical, review any available digital or physical proof before production.

Important: While your artwork files should be submitted in RGB, DTG and DTF production may convert the artwork to CMYK during the printing process. This means the final printed color may differ from what you see on screen.

The garment color can affect how a DTG or DTF print looks. For example, the same artwork may appear different when printed on a white garment versus a dark garment with a white underbase.

Pantone color matching is available for screen printing.

If you have a specific Pantone color you'd like to use, provide the Pantone reference when submitting your artwork. Pantone colors can be used to specify the ink color for screen printing more precisely.

Embroidery uses physical thread colors rather than printed ink.

You can refer to our Embroidery Thread Color Chart, which includes thread colors, HEX codes, and Pantone equivalents.

Use the chart to identify the closest available thread color for your design. Pantone equivalents are provided as references and should not be considered an exact Pantone match.
